50/50

I am only two weeks away from my next birthday and as of yesterday I am 50/50. It must be true that as you get older time passes quicker and memories of times past seem like yesterday ! It certainly doesn't feel like a year since I woke to find the trees outside festooned with balloons and neighbours wishing me a Happy Birthday (because they had seen the "other" balloons on the road side!) Nothing like that for 51 I hope!
